The location is great: in the hearth of Recoleta, close to shopping and good restaurants, at this same time quiet, on a side street with almost no traffic.
The condition of the apartment is a mixed bag. We had the apartment on the 9th floor. Many places need repainting. The balcony door didn't close - it had been damaged in many places with no sign of repair attempt. The safe didn't work (electronics), so we were finally given the hard key to use it. The water in the toilet kept running all the time.
The little kitchenette had just two sets of utensils and plates (literally two of each) and no pots or pens (we asked for some and got two pens). This proved to be not a big deal as we were mostly eating out or buying salad ingredients and other cold items.
All the staff were very kind and friendly, willing to help although a bit forgetful at times.
AC works great and it is very quiet and effective.
At the end of the day, despite the little inconveniences our impression of the place was good.
There are many small grocery stores in the area, with a larger one just 60 m from the hotel on the Ave Heras. We would highly recommend buying fresh fruit and vegetables in the local produce stores - great quality, prices, many places in close proximity.
