As a first time single woman in Morocco, this Riad was the perfect one to stay in. Asad gave me a great download of what everyone should know. The information he gave me served me so well throughout my trip. The only area for improvement is the Hammam recommended made me and my friend feel very uncomfortable in pushing us for a tip. Just something to be aware of! :)

Unbeatable location in the Souk right by the Spice Market and 5 minute walk from the main square at Keema El Fnaa. Owner Asad is friendly and very helpful with advice and bookings. Nice breakfast daily, even when needing to leave early.

We loved this Riad as it was comfortable and quiet with wonderful hosts. Each morning we enjoyed a wonderful Moroccan breakfast, which we chose to eat on the lovely rooftop terrace. Truly wonderful experience! The most customer oriented property I’ve ever stayed at. We were made to feel like family immediately. The location is exactly what we were looking for at a traditional riad in the central city deep into the markets and souks. Asad and Abdul are remarkable hosts, the rooms are quite comfortable, the architecture is spectacular, and we were well cared for. I hope to be able to return and would absolutely stay here again!

Asad and Abdul went ABOVE and BEYOND in accomodating us. They are very welcoming, friendly and gave us tips to navigate Always there to help. Breakfast was good. Location is walkable to attractions,, shopping, reataurants and beautiful gardens. The whole team of AL Riad Mamoune was AWESOME. We highly recommend this place.

As a solo traveler I appreciated the hospitality extended to me by Asad who was in communication with me before I even got to Morocco, insuring that all questions were answered. Once there, he was very helpful and provided so much information to help me maneuver and get the most out of my visit to Marrakech. Thanks again also to Abdul who was so very helpful as well. Great unique hotel in the middle of the souk. The decoration inside was very authentic and the room was very comfortable. Nice breakfast in the main courtyard or on the terrace. Asad was in contact with directions and advice for getting to the hotel and negotiating the locals in the market. I was very happy with my stay at the hotel and if I am lucky enough to go back to Morocco i will stay again.

From the day I arrived to the day I left, Asad and Abdul made me feel like I am part of their family rather than a guest. And that made my trip more memorable more than anything else. Location was great. You are basically in the middle of the of Medina yet still have the quietness and privacy that is needed after a full day of market and tours. I hope to go back to Marrakech and will definitely stay here again!!

This may be the best place to stay in Marrakesh. It is in the heart of the Medina. A traditional building that is very welcoming. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make your stay hassle free. They arrange a pickup and drop off to and from the airport (at a very reasonable cost), and help you plan your activities (if you want). Good breakfast (included). The Riad takes you back hundreds of years.

Amazing stay in Riad Al Mamoune. A warm welcome with tea early in the morning. It truly felt like a safe home under the care of Abdul. We had to leave early in the morning a few times and he made sure we had an early breakfast ready for us. Abdul even helped us find some great souvenirs in the souks at affordable prizes. The location is perfect, and Abdul made sure on our first day to direct us so we wouldn’t get lost. We loved our room. It was beautiful and spacious, though be ready for the light to be dimmed. 5/5, would go again!

While in Marrakech you want the authentic feel by staying in a Riad. This is clean, cozy and the staff is fantastic. Asad gave us highlights of Morocco and what to see and Abdul went out of his way multiple times (getting up early to make breakfast, walking us to tour meeting etc). The only thing is the location is deep in the shopping area so it’s crowded getting there but the Riad is on a quiet street.
