The hotel has comfortable rooms, and check-in is very easy thanks to the virtual reception. I would add a refrigerator in the room.

Nice room, quiet neighborhood, near train station

We were in Florence for the weekend. We were happy to find a nice place near the train station in what turned out to be a quiet neighborhood. We were within walking distance of all the tourist attractions in the city centre, and less than ten minutes from the train station. We’d definitely stay here again!

It was clean and I slept well, location is fantastic to Centro and trains. The bathroom you share is small but does the job it wasn’t busy so no issue getting into the washroom when I needed , lots of stairs going up

All about location

The place was old and weary with lots of stairs and no lift, but you get what you are paying for. The location can not be better, close to everything, train, bus or airport transfer. Still in the old town with everything.

Very good location near the train station and basically in the centre. Internet is fast No elevator, and with big suitcases it's a nightmare. I stayed there for 2 nights and the hot water worked on the first day only. The room is very small. No physical reception, but easy to communicate via whatsapp

Excellent spot

An excellent location. A short walk from the train station in one direction, the Arno and the city in the other. A nice little trattoria at ground level and excellent value for location.

Budget hotel but great location

Pros -great location -really friendly and helpful staff -refrigerator in room -powerful ceiling fan Cons - no safe in room despite description - uncomfortable bed - hairdryer weak and falling apart - no lift but staff helped with luggage

A good stay for the colder months

The stay was really nice! The place is very central and it seemed the have been newly painted. The only thing we could have needed was some AC. It was relatively uncomfortable to sleep at night when the room was too warm.

An extremely basic hotel. The room was a bit more like a prison than a comfortable room to return to after being on one's feet all day through the streets of Florence.The bed had sheets that kept slipping off in the night. Worst of all my head was forced to sleep near a hot radiator. I had to put my towels on it to reduce the heat, which was not controlled in the room. The staff was quite friendly and attentive. They helped mitigate the rooms defects. And it was located in quite a good area.

The staffs was very friendly but the property/room was very old, furnitures old and broken, broken door of the bathroom, broken tiles on the floor which can be dangerous as we can get hurt. When entering the room there was a bad smell like windows were never opened. There was holes on the wall. And of course on this heat there was no air conditioning but only an old fan on the ceiling.

Location of the hotel was great, close to the train station and the main attractions were really close by. The guy that checked us in was very polite and helpful when we couldn’t lock our door properly. The room we stayed in was pretty run down but large and had everything we needed (room 10). On the last night we were woken up by an alarm from a shop of sorts out our window at 3am which then turned into hammering and drilling from around 3:30am to 8:30am therefore we had an awful sleep and were glad to be leaving that morning. Upon checkout the woman at reception who we hadn’t met yet didn’t seem ready to entertain guest and when we asked to leave our luggage for a couple of hours before our train we felt like it was a chore and we actually then debated if we should leave it or just take it with us. When coming back for the luggage we were met with the same rudeness and she frankly just couldn’t be bothered which was disheartening when you’re paying to stay and especially when we were 2 females alone. Personally wouldn’t stay again which is a shame as we’ll definitely return to Florence.

location, location, location - right in the middle, I cannot think of a more perfect location for a hostel in florence. the house is beautiful, the rooms are actually quite ok, mine was small, but with a wonderful view, antique floors and large windows. the personnel i met was really friendly. the (shared) bathrooms, however, are neither pretty, nor functional, nor inviting. they smell bad. i did not shower, but washed in the sink in my room. the noises from outside were no problem for me - the windows are good and, well, you are in the MIDDLE of florence, don‘t expect complete silence. the walls inside, however, are very thin - greetings to the couple having a great time next door. you should know what to expect here - if you do, i believe it‘s a good choice for low budget travelling. i highly recommend the restaurant right next door!

Terrível, não recomendo irem a esse hotel. Não tem RECEPÇÃO, quando chegamos lá não tinhamos nenhma instrução de como abrir a porta do prédio, tivemos que contar com a sorte de que um hóspede saiu e pode nos ajudar, e ele mesmo falou mal do Hotel já. Depois, simplesmente não havia ninguém na recepção e apenas um número para ligar na parede. Quando liguei pra lá descobri que o número era de ROMA e a pessoa simplesmente pediu pra eu pegar uma chave que deveria estar na mesa, mas não estava. Aparentemente outra pessoa pegou a chave e entrou no quarto que deveria ser meu. Enfim, não fizemos o check-in nesse hotel e fomos para outro local, NÃO RECOMENDO RESERVAR E TER ESSE STRESS NESSE HOTEL.

Pickpocket Paradise

I was pickpocketed while checking in! Unbelievable. You had to use a code to get in the door at street level. The reception is upstairs. I got in the door at street level and there were two men in the hall talking. I had two large suitcases. One man immediately put out his cigarette and stated to lift the other end of my case. The other man stayed behind me and I lifted the 2nd bag upstairs. The 2nd man followed me up the narrow stairs. When we got to Reception, both men went back downstairs. There was a delay in getting my key. When I got to my room I discovered my pants pocket was cut open and my wallet was gone. There was a wash hand basin in the room with a small tablet of soap and a sachet of hand cream / moisturiser. I was also provided along with towels. However there was no outlet pipe attached to the hand basin so when I poured a bottle into the basin it splashed out on my feet.

This was a terrible place. There is no AC in the room. The room was dirty. The shower knob was broken. And we found cockroaches in the room. We left as soon as we seen them and got a different hotel. Do not recommend. Find somewhere else to stay
