check in time was not until after 4pm. when i checked in the told me they had no on site parking left. i had to walk 15 minutes down a street with prostitutes, "adult" shops and bars. horrible experience. room looked like it was never cleaned and major stains in carpet and outdated. nothing like advertises online.

This is a *great* property for the price, especially if you're just on a lowkey trip or extended stay. It is definitely dated and worn, but the amenities were great, the room comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent.

Comfortable stay on a business trip. Clean, felt safe, friendly responsive staff, convenient location easily walkable to Chinatown, the Old City, downtown and elsewhere. Some of these reviews overstate the aging condition of the property. Sure, the furniture is a bit dated but clean and in fine condition. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of closet space. Public spaces and hallways were also clean. The room could have had better lighting, especially the living room which was pretty dark (though it's nice to have even a dark living room while on the road). The hotel charges a steep fee for early check-in which seems egregious when the room is ready before the official check-in time. I'm not sure what the logic is behind this. Breakfast was good with a variety of options.
