Worse than you can imagine
Major construction ongoing.
No pool. No restaurant. No breakfast. Unlikely to change for at least 10-12 weeks based on the current condition of the hotel.
Cost is exorbitant for the condition. Worse than a Motel 6.
Location is great but it will be hard to come back from this.
We were in a "renovated" room. Outlets on both sides of the bed didn't work. Toilet didn't flush correctly. Shower was configured incorrectly so difficult to change temperature. Light bulbs left in night stand drawer. Blue painters tape left on artwork with location of position in the room.
Ice machine on our floor which was "finished" was inoperable.
Both front desk employees were so casually dressed as to appear homeless.
Recommendation to ownership,
1. fire everyone and start over.
2. Hire a team to go through every room on every floor and create a lunch list. There are electrical, plumbing and finish issues that need addressing.
