You’re instantly impressed upon arrival – the entrance hall is like stepping into a postcard from the past. Old-fashioned, yes – but in the best, most elegant way.
Unfortunately, that’s also where the budget seems to have peaked.
The rooms? Let’s just say… cozy would be a generous description. VERY small. I mean, I’ve seen walk-in closets with more ambition.
To be fair though – I should’ve read the room (description) before booking. That one’s on me.
Still, these rooms make other tiny hotel rooms I’ve stayed in look like presidential suites.
Reception was a mixed bag: some staff seemed like we were interrupting their meditation practice by daring to check in, while others delivered truly top-tier service – gold stars to them!
Breakfast? Absolutely fine. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. Solid.
Location? Genius. Whoever picked that spot deserves a raise.
Would I come back? If I just need a place to crash and plan to spend no more than 5 minutes in the room (possibly standing), then yeah – I’d consider it.
