Power outlets that shut down with the lights!!!
When I have an overnight layover at DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth) airport, the Grand Hyatt is my go-to hotel. It is located at Terminal D, is extremely convenient and very upscale. Everything works, everything is top notch (with one exasperating exception, see below). Granted the Grand Hyatt is pricey, and so I closely monitor prices (which rapidly fluctuate) and grab a good price when available. If I can't do that, there is another on-site airport at DFW (which I can't mention in this review!) which is a bit less convenient and usually less expensive. My exasperating experience is a "really???". The Grand Hyatt recently installed power outlets in the bedside table for powering devices overnight, which they previously lacked. Well, the geniuses who installed the power outlets tied them into the same switches that control the lights! So when you turn off the lights for the night, the beside power outlets also turn off. ("Really???"). The solution is to power your device using the outlet in the wall which is hidden behind the bedside table. This is tricky to get to (you need small hands), and you may need to pull out a plug from the outlet if it is fully used.
