Very underwhelming compared to the pictures, which are enhanced or polished, or at least designed to appear better than reality. The mattresses are old, they squeak a lot, and are uncomfortable. They have dips in the middle from long-term use, and the springyness make the hotel feel like a lower end motel. This place feels like all talk or fluff; once you arrive, there is an old mustiness and dingyness. The aesthetics feel drabby (definitely not a "Plus"). The bathroom lighting is terrible, kind of dark and gloomy. There's not enough lighting in the room, and the way they cramped bathroom is stuffed into the room feels like an airplane bathroom. The other entrance door of the building wouldn't close all the way and wouldn't lock, so it felt like a major security risk. I told the staff, who was inauthentic and insincere, and he did something to the door, but later I saw that again, it wouldn't close all the way. It felt vulnerable and unsafe because there were many people hanging out in the pool area. The female staff was friendly, but there was one male who seemed like he was in the wrong profession; hospitality isn't a career for the disingenuous or those who get easily vexed when guests are bringing things to his attention, or asking questions/for various help.
