I have stayed at this hotel several times mainly because of price and location. But last few times I have been shocked by some employess lack of understanding of what good service is. As a gold member I can get a free upgrade upon availability. Previous stay the receptionist claimed they were full but there were several rooms available on Hotels.com. Strange.
This time my wife and I ordered two drinks in the bar, one of which was a cosmopolitan. The drink was not tasting or looking like a cosmo, so my wife very politely returned it and asked for a proseco glas. When we wanted to pay the man charged us 3 drinks and we asked why, as we returned one. He replied: “when you order something you have to pay. I cant poor the drink back in the bottle” and looked very pissed. We refused to pay for a terrible drink we returned straight away. This man was so unfit to have a service job and made us feel like we insulted him. He ended up deleting the drink, but not without sending us a hatefull look. Not a nice start of our evening. Last time I stay at this hotel
