6/10 Good

Place was very tired and dated. Facilities were closed. But very helpful staff and room was well equipped with kitchen facilities had we been staying longer. Bus passes helped as well
Carol, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Room was nice and warm, and staff seemed friendly at the front desk. The toilet wasnt very clean in the room, and the elevator was a bit concerning and clunky like it needed repairs. Altough hotel is getting a bit on the older side it was a good place to stay and prices more resonable than others. Bed was conformable.

Great place for nature lovers.

The resort could use some updating but we loved staying there. Staff was amazing, condo was clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. Our condo balcony looked out over the wilderness with bike trails that doubled as game trails. A small herd of elk came down off the mountain in the mornings and grazed right under and out from the balcony. Also had a coyote trot down the trail one evening. If you like quiet and nature trails that go on for miles this is the place for you.

Catfish hotel

The room was dirty, drawers missing from cabinet. Limescale in bath. Skylight would not shut. Unless you are tall could not get to safe and then could not open fully. Noise of other guest unbearable.

Worth a look

Great location next to Roam bus stop with beautiful views. Kitchenette was nice to have. Rooms very darted, but comfortable.

Very well loved location

We really enjoyed our stay here, and appreciated the ability to cook meals in the kitchen and enjoy the view. That said, the property is pretty worn down, so don’t expect anything fancy. For the price, which was decent, it was a good deal.

Great room in a convenient location

Great room. Lots of space and would be perfect for a longer stay with its kitchenette area. Also a winter stay would be cosy having its own fireplace in the room and sitting area. We were given our complimentary bus pass to use during our stay with the bus stop directly opposite the hotel entrance. We used this but also enjoyed the pleasant stroll down into the town of Banff - around 15-20 mins. Once we’d picked up our car rental we had a designated indoor space for it. Would definitely recommend the resort.
