“Perfect Stay in the Heart of Venice!”

I recently stayed at this charming hotel in Venice, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the major attractions on foot while still feeling tucked away from the crowds. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, offering great recommendations and always greeting us with a smile. The room was comfortable and cozy, with a unique Venetian charm. While it was a bit darker than expected, it added to the intimate atmosphere, which we grew to appreciate. Everything was spotless, from the bedroom to the bathroom, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and centrally located place to stay in Venice with warm and attentive service, I highly recommend this hotel. Five stars!

Unfortunately for the price we paid the staff and service was not great. Nothing posted about ongoing construction or power/ water outages. Refused to give any sort of compensation or complimentary dining. 0/10. Would not recommend or go again as we are frequent travellers to Venice.

Loads or character, quiet area, noom was hot

We really loved our hotel it was updated nicely and the breakfast was really good. We were there in July so it was extremely hot. Our room was the two story one which we really liked the set up with our teen kids. But because of the two stories and open space the air conditioning barely felt like it was working. Also it is a fair walk from the main square so in the heat you feel like a sweaty mess and get back to a very warm room. There is a grocery store around the corner called Conad and was really affordable. Our mini fridge was lukewarm and the shower had issues draining. If it was not so hot am sure our stay would have been more comfortable. Very quiet and calm local area which was nice.

The hotel is a wonderful building inside and out, in a nice location. Our room was stunning at first but we found it frustrating. There are far too many light switches and permutations to get a particular light on or off, overall the lighting is poor.Reading a book after dark is difficult and we had to shine our phones onto the safe instructions to be able to read them. Despite cold November nights our biggest problem was the room being far too hot for a comfortable sleep, it was like an oven. On the first night I asked reception to just turn the heaters off to our room because turning the room controls off seemed to make no difference, I cannot understand why they would pay high energy bills to heat the street because we had to have the windows open to cool the room. I assume the individual controls would be just as useless in summer. If we were not kept awake by the stifling temperature it was the noise from the next room. I don’t think the occupants were particularly loud, you could just hear every word, cough, sneeze like they were in the room with you and these girls didn’t stop talking morning and night. Overall, the hotel has many great features and friendly staff but I cannot enthuse over them because the room was simply uncomfortable and unable to provide a decent nights sleep. I mentioned my gripes when checking out and was annoyed by the reply of “ you should have told us and maybe we could have done something about the heating “…. I did, on the very first night.

Nice Location, But Service needed Work

The location is a bit far from the center, but it makes for a good walk. There are great pasta restaurants nearby. The service is decent but not fully reliable when it comes to resolving issues—only halfway there. The TV and remote didn’t work, and some outlets were out of order. It’s clear they don’t always thoroughly check the rooms before guests arrive, which needs improvement. The lounge and outdoor patio are nice. My room had a beautiful view over the canal with boats and plenty of sunlight.

We loved that the hotel was close walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants but it still felt tucked away.
