Expected More for the Cost
Let me just start off by saying that my room was $220 with tax for the night. For that amount of money I expected nicer accommodations and better customer service. I checked in, they took my ID, then gave me my room. Upon entering the room, the overhead lights would not work. I called down to the front desk, three different times before someone answered with a simple “hi”. I had to reconfirm that it was the front desk. I asked about the lights and they told me there was a box near the door that I had to put my room key in to get the lights to work. That is fine, but why wasn’t that told to me when I checked in? I got settled and then left for my daughter‘s volleyball tournament. I realized when I got to the tournament that I did not have my ID in order to check in. I then called the hotel again, with no answer I called two more times, with no answer. I then had to drive back 15 minutes to retrieve my ID so I could get into my daughter‘s tournament. The guy at the front desk was not apologetic and just handed it to me. We left at 6 AM this morning for our tournament, and noticed no one is at the front desk. It is not a hotel that I feel safe in, has poor customer service, and charges high dollar for a rundown hotel. I will not be staying there again.
