frustrating! make sure you check the bill
We had a vacation in Boston and decided to redeem reward nights at this hotel.
We got a room opposite a laundry room which was very noisy in the morning even though we had requested a quiet room and away from elevator.
After going back to our country, we found out a charge from the hotel for almost $800 on credit card statement despite they said zero balance as everything's already paid at the check out.
I had to call them from oversea and asked what the charge was for. They said there was a mistake and would refund that amount back to my credit card.
This was very frustrating because there will be currency exchange rate difference on credit card plus I need to wait 7-10 days for refund to be processed depending on bank.
They should have checked more carefully regarding the charge to any guests. What if I didn't notice this charge on the statement !!!
