We stayed here for 4 nights in a suite on the executive floor. Honestly, I couldn’t tell what was “executive” about the floor; it was just like any other corridor. The high price did not match the quality we received. We travel a lot to various countries, and this hotel stood out in its mediocrity.
Upon check-in, we were informed that housekeeping was only done every other day. The parking was expensive, and the garage was mediocre at best. The room had a musty, almost dirty smell. Cleanliness and hygiene were severely lacking, with linens and towels that were musty and of low quality. The shower gel was empty, and when we inquired about it, the first response was that they were short-staffed. In my opinion, staffing issues should not become the customer’s problem.
During off-hours, we saw a staff member lounging on one of the sofas, scrolling through his phone. While I understand everyone needs a break, this should not be done in view of guests.
If you plan to use the sparse breakfast, make sure you’re on time as they close the doors promptly.
