I booked this hotel based on its claim to be a four-star property, with air conditioning, hardwood floors, and a clean, comfortable stay. What I got was the opposite.
The room was much smaller than advertised, with no working A/C ("off until summer") and a sealed window—no airflow. As someone with asthma, I couldn’t breathe. The room was dusty, stale, and full of old, fabric-heavy furniture that hadn’t been deep cleaned in years. I spent the night walking outside because I physically couldn’t stay in the room.
Staff acted bothered when I asked for a sheet. The next day, they moved me to a cleaner room, but it still smelled like thrift store air and off-gassing drapes.
When I asked for a refund for the remaining nights, they refused. This hotel is part of a larger chain, and their refusal to refund even one night shows a complete lack of care. This is not a four-star hotel—it’s a dusty two-star coasting on outdated “charm” and misleading listings.
