Radisson Blu Gardermoen is good enough, but not more than that. Proximity to the airport and the 24/7 service are great advantages that justify the price level, but there are also some strange setbacks that destroy it's image.
Very small and narrow entrance and lobby area; the reception desk is placed so unwise that the line of people queuing to check-in (obviously carrying lots of luggage) blocks the entrance entirely. Despite 5-strong staff team working hard at the reception desk, it took almost 30 minutes to check in, even if there were only around 15 guests waiting.
The pre-announced "online check-in option" was NOT functional, plus the fact that we needed to show our passports anyway - generally it felt like a 19th-century experience.
Otherwise the staff was nice and polite and the check-out process in the early morning was super efficient.
The room was comfortable and clean, with many amenities, well suited for both business travelers and families. However, in our case the bathroom was not so clean, the vanity area was badly designed with a bit misaligned tap and sink (difficult to use the tap); and the shampoo bottle was empty!
