Nice hotel but not very clean.
Nice hotel aesthetically but not the best on cleaning. The carpet in my room was beginning to fray, there was a bit of mold in the bathroom and there was a pair of socks from the previous guest that was left behind under the bathroom counter next to the blow dryer. Overall not a bad hotel but cleanliness could have been better for the price. Also no breakfast which for the price, and for the cleanliness, was the least they could do. I’d give it a 6-7 out of 10.

Rocky start initially
Initially I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned plus the AC was not working and there was quite a bit of noise from students in the hallway but I contacted the front desk and was given a better room. The maintenance guy that morning showed up in my room was on the phone at my desk I’d not checked out!! The manager Alex was contacted the next day and he made it right with my stay.

Fron desk staff should be courteous
When i arrived at the lobby to check in, I didn't see anybody on the front desk so I waited. After a while, a notice a movement behind the desk and apparently there is someone there sitting and didn't bother to stand to greet me. He was nice in the end, but i thought that there was no courtesy to stand up and greet the guest.

Our room was very clean, other than stains that were on the wall above and to the left of the fridge. It looked like coffee or pop had been spewed on the wall, ran down, and dried. The bed was clean and very comfortable. The AC worked well, and the water pressure and hot water was good. The drapes did a wonderful job of darkening the room. The light over the coffee bar was not working. When I went to remove the bulb to go get a new one, I discovered that the entire fixture was loose up in the ceiling. The towel rack over the toilet was slightly loose, with the lower left screw missing and the lower right protruding out about an inch. None of these issues were really serious, and we would definitely stay there again. Had it not been for these issues, I would have rated this hotel five stars in all areas.
