No rooms available

The hotel didn’t respect the reservation. When checking in they stated didn’t have rooms available, just for the ones pre payed and that they didn’t recommend booking through third parties.

Check in process was easy, room looked clean when I went into it, had to deal with people yelling in the middle of the night and arguing and other rooms. Check out was easy, but the lady at the desk was a real jerk.

Not a family friends place

As soon as i walked in the lady working the front desk immediately started complaining that i was there to a woman sitting in the lobby with her children working with her. As soon as she was finished complaining about my presence, she got on the walkie figuring out which rooms were due for check out and room numbers owed amount leaving me to stand there for the next 5 minutes before she had even said hi to me. I immediately asked for my reservation to be canceled. It was dirty, uninviting, older men and women smoking everywhere and bugs crawling all over inside. This was not a place i felt safe having my family. It looked nothing like the photos and definitely not somewhere worth $100

Disgusting – Cockroaches in the Bathroom and by th

I stayed at OYO Mona Lake Motel in Muskegon and had to leave shortly after checking in. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and crawling near the window. I even took a picture of one — that’s how bad it was. I know some people book budget places to save money — I get it, I was doing the same. But this one? Not worth it at all. It felt dirty, unsafe, and neglected. The front desk didn’t seem surprised when I complained, which tells me this isn’t a one-time issue. I ended up leaving and paying more just to feel clean and safe somewhere else. If you’re even considering staying here — DON’T. It’s not worth the stress, the bugs, or risking your health. You can do better.

Yikes!!! Cheap way out.

You’re definitely getting what you pay for. $103 a night, wrong room. Unexpected fee’s Dirty floors. Little to none soap, shampoo ect. Not cleaned properly, Bare minimum!! I’m glad it was only a quick night short stay. I won’t be back again.

This property is a SCAM. These pictures are clearly edited and in no way, shape or form a legit representation of this location and hotel. We pulled up and drove off immediately. The building was so dilapidated, we passed it at first thinking it was an abandoned building. The windows are busted and boarded up, landscaping is higher than the building, the place is disgusting. Do not stay here if you value your life.

Staff was great and very nice, but the room was nasty. Old dirty pillows that smelled, shower obviously wasnt clean because it still had hair in it, room had a really bad smell, no phones to ring front desk, night stands had some type of grease on them. Our last night we had water leaking from bathroom fan so we were moved to another room which wasn't as bad. Makes me wonder why someone would even have the gross room even available to stay in. Never again will we stay there.

The property shown in the pictures doesnt resemble the actual location. We found the parking area unsafe, and decided not to stay.

Within an hour of arrival we canceled and went elsewhere. The ceiling was bubbled from hvac above and looked like it was going to drop. Walls were noticeably dirty. Even the telephone cord looked like it had either dirt or chocolate on it. The general area was terribly rundown and felt unsafe. Not at all like the reviews stated. Or the pictures on the website. Staff initially refunded the cost of the room. But ran it through their audit long after we left and took the money from my card. Now, I either have this reversed or dispute the charge with the bank. Bogus management or ownership should make this right immediately.

Called to confirm reservation, was rudley redirected to expedia customer service by a gentleman who changed his name second time..George. went back to Expedia customer service to check in, thought it went through called later to confirm appointment spoke to Tina said it was fine told her i was running after 7. Went there and they had no rooms at 745 pm, so we had no place to go..it was scary looking there and the registration desk didn't look like it was attached to hotel. The add is deceiving.

This place is a last resort motel

This place looks runned down on the outside and it isn't any better on the inside. The room had a smell the bathrooms where disgusting. The towel rack looked like it has never been cleaned the bathtub had what looked like black mold in the bathrooms. This place is definitely a last resort motel.
