I had reserved a premium suite w/an ocean view, upon check in I was directed to the preferred desk and we received a welcome drink, check in was easy and the main lobby was absolutely beautiful. I had requested 2 beds as I was traveling with a good friend, was somewhat disappointed when the comment was made that the room only had 1 bed but had a sofa which could be made into a bed; we were staying 10 nights no way we’re either of going to be sleeping on a hide a bed. Needless to say, we were further informed that the room would be down-graded if we wanted a room with 2 beds. Long story short, we accepted the room, but at no point was the resort at full occupancy. The room was beautiful, unobstructed ocen view room. The Buffett restaurants were just that, mediocre. The ala carte restaurants were hit and miss. By far our favorites were the Sushi. Greek, Italian and Tappinyaki. As a preferred guest our dinner reservations were rescheduled upon check in, the first 5 nights. The big turn off were the pushy timeshare sales staff that would stand out side the main Buffett every morning and did not take ‘no’ for an answer. Everyday up until our last day we were hit up, very off putting. The pools are nice, all daily pool activities occur at the pool near the children’s area. Avoid the 5 star excursion staff that come up from the beach, we booked a vip excursion to Saona Island, it was anything but VIP. Instead go through Viator.com. The Bavaro beach is superior compared
