I rarely leave strongly negative reviews, but my stay at Clarion Hotel Admiral was truly unacceptable.
First, the hotel provides no phone in the rooms, meaning you cannot contact reception or any hotel staff directly. You are expected to dial in from an outside line, which is absurd for a supposed 4-star property — and when the line is busy, you simply go unanswered.
Second, while I understand that many European hotels lack air conditioning, this property also fails to provide even a basic fan. To make matters worse, the windows do not open, leaving the rooms hot, airless, and suffocating. Staying in these conditions was nothing short of torture.
A hotel that charges premium rates should not ignore such fundamental necessities for guest comfort and safety. My experience was so unpleasant that I would not recommend this property to anyone, and I regret having booked it.
