This experience this time was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. My party reserved a total of three rooms — one for myself, one for my aunt and grandmother, and another for a friend. During our most recent visit, the entire hotel had a pervasive musty, mildew-like odor, far worse than what we experienced during our last stay. Previously, we were told the odor came from the laundry area when towels were being washed, but this time it seemed the entire hotel was affected, including the guest rooms and hallways.
Upon checking into my room, it was immediately clear that the space had not been properly cleaned. There were visible stains on the walls, dirty windows, and a filthy bathroom. The carpet near the air conditioning unit was coming apart, and the overall condition of the room was very poor. The smell was terrible! I immediately began to feel sick to my stomach.
I contacted the front desk and spoke to a receptionist who was kind and apologized. I asked if there were any air fresheners or plug-ins that could help, and she said I could come downstairs later to pick some up. Shortly after, a staff member did come by to spray the carpet, but unfortunately, the odor remained.
When I went down later to pick up the plug-ins, a different front desk attendant greeted me with a rude attitude. She told me there were no air fresheners available and acted as though I was out of line for even asking. Eventually, she offered to let me check another room, but was the same
