Service needs an improvement
We stayed at Coro twice within July & August. The first time was great (for 2 nights), no complaints. Hence, this is the reason why I booked it again for longer stay (5 nights) and this where it seemed to go downhill.
GOOD things:
1. location - around 30mins form the airport, many restaurants, cafe and even a mall within walking distance. very convenient.
2. Concierge staff are very helpful and friendly.
3. Swimming pool and roof top bar, very nice atmosphere.
NOT so good:
1. Front desk staff needs to be more friendly and attentive. You sometimes get a feeling that you bother them when you ask something.
2. Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting for no reason.
3. Air-condition keeps turning off by itself.
4. Room had a smell of dog
5. I had a little accident during my last night (slipped by the pool area) and no first aid has been offered. No accident report filed. I asked for an icepack myself and it took them more than 30mins to give. I even had to go down to reception myself and complained to the manager before getting it. Some of the staff are lacking the sense of urgency and customer care.
6. I was charged for 1 missing face towel in the room when they only left 1 during the cleaning (apparently it supposed to be 2). Since we had a plane to catch, I did not bother to argue anymore but what if it was found during cleaning which we will never know? It means they just pocketed extra money from the customer.
For the above reasons, Coro will not be my choice of hotel in the future.
