We did not get any room when we reached despite having a prepaid deluxe room, at reception we were told to enquire with hotels.com customer care. We had to wait in 30 minutes in rain at reception to discover that they will not able to provide any room. Customer care at hotels.com were communicating via chat, after waiting for 45 minutes in uncertainty i decided to look out for an option on my own. In short, very disappointed with these marketing tactics by hotels.com. Raised a request for refund.
