I think the hotel was okay. Honestly I think it is a bit overrated. But stayed in Grand Hyatt before moving in EQ and liked it better. Overall, the experience was fine, the food was average, so was the room. The rooftop bar was amazing though!

Review of EQ Kuala Lumpur My wife and I stayed at EQ Kuala Lumpur for a week, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was incredible—very kind, professional, and always ready to assist. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. We also enjoyed the well-equipped gym and the beautiful outdoor pool. The hotel's location is perfect, within walking distance of major attractions like Pavilion Mall and the Petronas Towers. Our room had a few minor issues, but they were addressed immediately upon request, showing the hotel's commitment to excellent service. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend EQ Kuala Lumpur!

Location wasn't in a touristy neighborhood and hear major sites. The hotel was nice, but the walls were thin, could hear chairs moving upstairs etc. The room service was good but the food was average. Bath switches broke, easy to spill water all over so things look nice but don't function all that great for a 4 star hotel. But they were trying!
