My stay was not what I expected for a Wyndham property. I spent everyday getting new keys made for my door. Very frustrating. Staff stated this is normal for all doors. On my first day, I had no hot water. subsequently moved to a different room, upon entering the room the first thing I noticed was a soiled box spring. Moved back to original room for the night, then moved to another room the next day. With regard to the breakfast buffet, the potatoes were cold, the small boxes of cereal were stale and the food gone at 9:15, for a buffet that is to be served until 10:00 a.m., also coffee ran out. The staff overall was very helpful. The only true shining star was Melvin, our Front Desk Clerk. he went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible every day he was on duty. He is to be commended.
The hotel itself is obviously very old, with attempted renovation over the years, but overall the hotel is clean.
