It was great distance from bourbon street and the heart of the french quarter. Walked to anywhere we needed to go. Great staff. We were late arriving die to flight and they were accomodating as well as late to leave due to a luggage malfunction. Air conditioner worked well and very clean room and courtyard.

Walking distance to Bourbon. The property does a great job in the decoration for a haunted hotel. The staff is great and helpful! Christina was amazing and very helpful! A great time and a great visit.

They were nice enough to let us check in early for an event we had to be at for noon. Nice bathroom and beautiful courtyard. No ghosts again this stay, but very whimsical with blood stained sheets & bathmats with a silhouette of an axe murderer in your room.

The host told us to think of the Haunted Hotel as our own home and that was certainly true. Great stay, fun people and great location. Parking was a challenge but that’s because of the area and no way around that.

Basic hotel with great service and location

The Haunted Hotel is a 300-year-old inn situated in the heart of the French Quarter. Although the standard rooms are very basic, the location and service are what makes it stand out. Hidden in a courtyard accessed via a locked gate and a narrow path between two buildings, this setup provides a safe, secure, private, and quiet spot. The staff gives personal attention to guests, and made us feel at home.

Everyone we encountered were helpful, nice, and informative. Love the location, just be prepared for a decent walk to park your car, at around $55/day. The room is cozy and comfortable enough for a few nights stay. Dog friendly! Very secure.

The Christine’s were amazing, room and property were perfect, close to EVERYTHING!!! We even found free street parking within 1/2 block. Highly recommend if you’re looking to explore the French quarter any time of year, for any event! The inside stairs will wear on you a little if you forget as much stuff as I did though.

The Haunted Hotel had easy going staff that were easy to chat with “chill”. If you’re looking for a resort style stay this isn’t the place, but if you’re easy going, fun and like to hang out in an open courtyard this is a great place. Keep in mind it’s a heritage hotel. Our poor little air conditioner was working hard (we named him Aaron) so it would make a grinding noise every 7 minutes for a 2 mins. However we told staff and they were very kind and understanding. We would stay here again, due to its proximity to all the “New Orleans” vibes and walkability. Hotel isn’t wheelchair friendly (from what I can tell) and has stairs for the upper levels. Had a great time and thank you Haunted Hotel!

There is no reception area. No parking. My room was heated by an electric heater at the foot of the bed. Not nice!!!
