Wonderful stay in a beautiful casa
We had a wonderful stay. Lucillo and Nirma were very welcoming, friendly and excellent hosts. They helped us to book excursions and a taxi to Havana which were good value. The room was lovely, clean and modern and the breakfast was substantial and made with fresh ingredients. Thank you for looking after us in your beautiful home.

Without a doubt our favourite accommodation in Cuba! Alex is the finest host and his family was so genuine, welcoming and accomodating. We do highly recommend staying with these lovely people and their home full of plants and good vibes. Our room was spotless and finely decorated . The breakfast was amazing! Location great as just a short walk to the main road and restaurants, and we were given great advice on which places to try. They arranged our transfers to and from Viñales - it all worked with perfection ! Their advise on tours and restaurants is a “must follow “ ! We can only highly recommend it!

Our trip here was amazing, absolutely loved Alex and his family and Bruno! The accommodation was super clean and view was amazing. We felt so welcome, they were just awesome. Would recommend. Also very close to lots of places to eat.

We had a wonderful time. Newly renovated rooms. It was an oasis full of flowers. They organised a fabulous trip on horseback for the day for us. Bruno, the golden retriever, was a charming companion. Breakfast in the garden offered a good start in the morning. A generator proved extremely useful to bridge power outages.

Our stay was beyond wonderful - the family welcomed us with open arms yet they respected our privacy throughout our stay! We absolutely loved the comfort and decor of our room- very high standard for Cuba! The terraces are very green and ideal for relaxing. The rooftop terrace overlooks the mogotes and it is also really relaxing after our days of sightseeing. We booked our tours and restaurants with them and could not be happier- it is a must to follow their advise as for local things to do ! The family organized our transfers to and from Havana - really nice car professional drivers ! The breakfasts were out of the world - freshly made and very diverse! We can only highly recommend this little gem in Vinales ❤️

We booked Casa Lucilo y Nirma for two nights and we are thrilled we did ! The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable will all amenities. Gorgeous bathrooms ! The breakfast was the best we had in Cuba and freshly made every morning. The service the family offers is super good: we book airport transfers , excursions and we were given excellent advise on nice places to eat. The atmosphere in the casa is very relaxed and tbe green plants give you an amazing feel of nature. The rooftop terrace is amazing for relaxing over the sunsets. Highly recommended for your Vinales stay !

Fantastic place but don’t use airport transfer
Casa Lucilo y Nirma was a fantastic place. Very cozy, nice rooftop, best bed and best breakfast I have had in Cuba, Lucilo and Nirma are very nice and it felt a bit like home with the two sweet dogs Nola and Bruno. The place deserves 5 stars but I can only give 4 stars since their son(?)/person in Miami double the price for airport transfer twice. I wrote to the number on Hotels.com to arrange airport transfer. On Hotels.com it said the price was x dollars roundtrip. He wrote back it was an old price on Hotels.com and it was double the price roundtrip instead. I researched and I could see it was still a fair price so I said ok. 6 days before arrival I texted him to confirm. I got an answers 3 days later and then he said I had misunderstood him and the price was double price but each way (even though I had a message from him where he said it was for a roundtrip). And because of the late respond, it was too late to cancel my reservation at the casa. That is very bad customer service! I ended up canceling the airport transfer and I found a much cheaper one. So don’t use their airport transfer.

Lucilo, Nirma y su familia así como el servicio han sido muy amables y atentos en todo momento. Ha sido un placer hospedarnos con ellos. Recomiendo su alojamiento a todo el mundo que visite Viñales. El desayuno riquísimo y abundante. Precioso alojamiento con terrazas y patio con plantas, genial para relajarse. Lo único que fue regular fue el wifi pero no fue tan importante. Lucilo and Nirma are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts, making us feel like part of their family from the moment we arrived. The rooms are newly renovated, comfortable, and stylish, providing a perfect retreat. Both the restroom and bedroom are spacious and well-appointed. The rooftop swimming pool is a fantastic amenity, especially on hot days, offering a refreshing escape and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Breakfast is a highlight (offered by “las dos flaquitas”), with delicious offerings that we highly recommend. Additionally, Nirma’s son, Junior, is a gem. He knows all the best spots in the city and is well-connected with everyone. If you need anything, just ask Junior, and he’ll find the perfect solution for you. Our stay in Viñales was truly exceptional thanks to their hospitality and attention to detail. We can’t wait to return!

Incredible place with beautiful community vibe
Staying at Casa Lucilo y Nirmo offered us a true taste of Cuba. It was perfect from start to finish - the rooms were clean and perfect, sitting on the terrace at the front enabled us to watch the community and the world go by. The family are so friendly and will help you with anything you need even though they don't speak English. If we came back to Vinales I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The powercuts can be challenging but this is across Cuba so you must be prepared for this - especially for AC during the evening.

We stayed at Casa Lucilo y Nirma during our round trip through Cuba and this was definitely our best experience! We were welcomed with open arms and felt at home at the casa. The room was provided with an amazing bathroom and airconditioning and we even got an extra ventilator during our stay! Every morning a lovely freshly made breakfast was provided and we got some great help from the family with some day trips like horse riding and a trip to an amazing beach called Cayo Jutias. The casa is located very close to the main street with some amazing restaurants! Furthermore, the roof terrace with small pool didn’t disappoint! The roof terrace had a 360° view around the Viñales valley which was amazing and the pool was great to cool down after a hot day on the horses. :) Thank you for the good care, would recommend it to everybody!

Wonderful casa!! The room was very clean and the environment was very quiet. Moreover, the staffs were friendly and cared of us a lot. We wish we could stay longer!

Fabulous stay with the sweetest owners. The casa is centrally located but still in a very peaceful neighborhood- extremely safe. The rooms were spectacular with lovely touches and en-suite bathrooms. Lucilo and Nirma were very proactive and helped us plan of stay - it did make the difference! The activities and sights they recommended were top! We particularly loved the sunsets at the rooftop and being able to pet the cute pet they have called Bruno :) Lastly , the casa can arrange your rides to and from Vinales which is very convenient ! Thank you for an amazing stay !

Unforgettable stay at Casa Lucilo y Nirma! We could not ask for better hosts full of great tips and kindness. We booked all trips and restaurants with then and all recommendations were amazing . They made our stay so placid and enjoyable with reliable and timely service. The rooms are amazing compared to the local standard. The rooftop terrace is beautiful and overlooks the famous mogotes - both from the pool or the rocking chairs. The breakfast offered at the casa is perfect - plentiful and tasty ! Do yourself a favor and book them !

We can only highly recommend Casa Lucilo y Nirma ! Once we checked in, they warmly greeted us and set the tone for a perfect stay ! Lucilo y Nirma are extremely helpful , attentive, caring and go above and beyond to make you feel like at home. We based our entire stay on their tour recommendations and local venues to eat and drink. The sunrise hike and the horse trip were our of this world-such an authentic way to explore the valleys and wild nature of Vinales! They also recommended local restaurants and each time we were speechless - restaurant to catch one of the most gorgeous sunsets in the island and another resto with idilic views nestled in the heart of Valle de Vinales. The rooftop terrace is just gorgeous , such an added value to the casa- it is ideal to freshen up after our days exploring. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable , with ensuite luxury bathroom and A/C. Rooms are very safe and are also peaceful to sleep and relax. The breakfasts are very tasty and diverse , plenty of fruits and freshly made every morning! Transportation arrangements are available -the family can get you anywhere in Cuba, comfortably ! Best place to stay in town!
