I was there for the first two weeks of September. When we arrived, we were not in the main building, like booked, but in the North building. This building is aged and needs renovated. We were supposed to be in the main building on the 9th floor. We were on the 4th floor. I wanted 2 queen beds, but had a king bed. 4 pillows that looked like they should have been in a baby's crib. The appliances were camper sized appliances, the fridge and the stove. The temperatures were written on the knobs in a marker and no counter space. There was mold in the bathroom and the bathroom was so small, if you were a large person, good luck getting into the bathroom! The living room had a chair that was totally disgusting and looked like it had not been cleaned in years and the couch was awful. The couch leaned towards the middle because it was so old and used. There was also mold in the living room on the ceiling. No dogs, supposedly, but there were 2 little yippy dogs next door that barked all the time. No smoking for vaping but the halls and elevator wreaked of marijuana. I called Expedia and they called the hotel. The hotel said we could cancel and be charged the full cancellation fee and they did not have the room we originally wanted because it was booked. Expedia gave me a $50 credit for my next booking. I was very disappointed with Expedia and I will NEVER stay at the Atlantica Resort by Hosteeva. The nice picture you see is the main building, not the building we were in.
