Poor hotel service and bad manners
I have stayed in this hotel in previous years and I have had no issues but it seems like the entire management has changed.
I was very disappointed firstly when I requested for a late check out the lady at the desk was very rude, she had zero experience with customer service. Very abrupt and was speaking on top of me. I asked to speak to her duty manager to who she spoke to in Spanish without realising I understand Spanish who supported her and when I was complaining to him about her attitude he was telling me I can’t help you with a late check out. He failed to even ask what the issues was and just started defending his colleague and not possible for a late check out. I told him I no longer required a late check out after her poor behaviour and bad manners. To embarrass her before I left I told her just for our information I do understand Spanish to next time be careful around foreign people which she did feel ashamed off.
The manager on duty really needs training on how to run a reception desk as he was equally as bad as her with dealing with customers checking in to hotel.
The hotel has really gone down hill and they do not care about guest.
Also when giving city tax make sure they give you correct change as they try and steal your money I had to ask for my change.
The breakfast was poor, after requesting for milk and tea I had to wait until my eggs were cold.
I have stayed in this hotel over the past 5 years under different management but I wouldn’t return.
