Room with a view!
Conveniently located near Penn Station, Herald Square, and Times Square, just two blocks from the Empire State Building. However, the lobby is very small and often crowded. The happy hour service left much to be desired, with limited drink options (only two well drinks) and unhealthy food choices. Additionally, the room floors were gritty and sandy, which was disappointing.

Disappointing
The best thing about the property is the location. So many disappointing things, where to begin. 1. They advertised separate sitting area, which suggests separate from the bedroom. This was a lie, and the room was small. 2. Requests to the front desk or housekeeping take forever to be responded to, and one has to call several times to ask for the same thing, if they answer the phone. 3. You had to request bottled water daily. Which was a small 250ml per guest per day. Quite ridiculous. 4. The breakfast was okay in terms of variety; however, the space was small and crowded, which no staff to seat you. 5. The staff at the front desk were nice enough, but as indicated very slow to respond to requests. 6. At 1:20am or so one morning, the fire alarm went off, and was blaring for about 20 minutes before the hotel's engineer came on the say it was a false alarm and guests should return to their rooms. Their was no explanation or apology, and the alarm continued for another 5 minutes after that. That was my first and last visit to this property.

I booked a room with a view of the Empire State Building in JULY. When it was time to check in, they told me that they were cleaning the room and charged me the night. When I returned to the hotel for the key, they told me the room was not available and instead gave me another room that was not the one I was charged for.

I came from Montreal for one day and a half, the stay at this hotel was amazing. Complimentary breakfast, drinks, food and a beautiful room with a gorgeous view of the city (Empire State Building)! Christmas magic
We rented two rooms for a family trip. We were very happy with our stay on 37th st. The hotel is at a great location, an easy walk from Penn Station and Herald Square. Easy to get to Bryant Park, Times Square, and Rockefeller Center. The breakfast is very impressive and well organize. The reception desk was also vey friendly and accomodating. We will definitely stay there on our next teip to NYC.

It was just OK. Nothing in the room was plugged in and couldn’t get to the actual plugs- couldn’t use the phone, microwave or mini fridge. Fire Alarm went off several times and was uncertain if we needed to make a 37 flight run or not. (Laughing about it now. Several neighbors came out of their rooms too). Elevators are terribly slow. Bed was great and had a lovely view of the Empire State Building. Employees were very nice. Ignacio at the lounge was a great server!

Great place for family!
This was a great place to stay. Stayed with my mom amd son for a quick family trip. Loved the breakfast and evening reception. Convenient location. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.
