Stay was average - for the amount charged the hotel was not great standard. The room we were given constantly had sewage smell in the room. Also the room floor kept on getting condensation everyday and this was a slipping hazard. Not great on safety. We did speak to reception a few times.
The lift broke down and had to use the staff lift which was not a great experience.
At breakfast the watermelon tasted of onion as it seems it was cut using the same knife after chopping onions which out washing it first.

This was the first time I tried lemon tree hotel chain, and it was highly maintained and very nice ambience. The staff is very supportive and food of restaurant is awesome. I tried buffet as well as alakarte and both were just delicious.
Only regret I have is the size of rooms, the size of rooms are very small. But well maintained.

My wife was travelling alone and had booked a Non-Smoking Room but instead the front desk allocated a Smoking Room to her only after 2 days my wife realised and she raised it with the manager after which they changed her into a Non-Smoking Room. This is totally out of order as Smoking Rooms should only be allocated if you have asked for and inspite of other rooms available the front desk had the audacity to allocate a Smoking Room to my wife. Also we had pre-booked the hotel and got the dates wrong by a day. But instead of changing the booking they made us pay for an extra night even though there were rooms available but that did not bother Lemon Tree and our request to change dates was turned down. My wife was standing at the reception at 4.00 am in the morning of 8th Jan and our booking was from 8th Jan (check in at 14:00) So we requested them that we got the dates wrong and can the booking not be switched as we had already booked for 2 nights. But Lemon Tree even though being such a big chain denied a customer request and made us pay for an extra night (which we did as had no choice). But this shows that Lemon Tree as a Group is a greedy one and does not care about their customer booking and nor did they treat my wife properly by allocating a Smoking Room. I will never stay at a Lemon Tree property again and will not recommend anyone.
