The Palazzo Keller is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Primarily because of the royal treatment my mother and I received from the moment we walked through the door. We arrived too early to check-in, but were escorted to a gorgeous sitting room where we could wait with infused waters.
Once our room was ready, we were delighted at the size and appointments. Everything was top notch. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We each had our own sink in the bathroom. The toiletries were superior. And everything worked perfectly.
The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Italy. Many options for every dietary need.
The hotel is also uniquely located in a very convenient location. It is a 3 minute walk to the Saint Angelo bus station (number 1), a 10 minute walk from Piazza San Marco, a 5 minute walk from the Accademia Bridge. This location allows you to be close enough to everything without being stressed out by the crazy Venice crowds.
On our last day as I was checking out, we learned that our flight was canceled and rescheduled for the following day. Although the Keller did not have any free rooms, the woman at the front desk found us a nearby hotel that was not part of their portfolio. This was a wonderfully generous gesture and I cannot say enough good things about her.
I am planning to revisit Venice within the year with my husband and will definitely be staying here with him!
Grazie mille!
