1) Start with Hotel staff are rude
2) Reception desk staff do not know the local language Kannada. They want you to speak only in Hindi Unacceptable
3) Room is ok with open windows which does not block street traffic noise, could not sleep all night
4) Reception does not accept valid non Indian ID card, they insist on ID issued by India
5) Breakfast buffet is a joke, just had stale Idly and mediocre food.
6) Over expensive for the amenities provided.
All in all avoid unless you have no other option, no way 3 star hotel.

I don't recommend anyone to stay in this hotel
Thy refuse to to give me a room that already booked and paid for it.

I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY IN SILICREST HOTEL
When we came to Bangaluru on February 3rd Tuesday we went to Silicrest Hotel about 2:30pm and show my Booking Confirmation from Hotel.com which I already pad for the room and aske for a room,the lady at the reception said THEY DON'T HAVE ANY BOOKING ON MY NAME.and I kept on telling her I already book the room through Hotel.com but she doesn't want to listen to me(She Was Very root to me)I told her to call the hotel.com and conform the booking,then she try to call hotel.com but she codent get through.Then I CALLED HOTEL.COM ON MY CELLPHONE,immediately I got the reply from the hotel.com,and I put my phone on speaker and aske her to listen the massage,it says THERE IS A BOOKING ON MY NAME AT THE SILICREST.(I have no idia where did she call befor and got no answer)then she said THEY DONT HAVE ANY ROOMS AVAILABLE.and she call another hotel and book a room and ask me to go to that hotel
And we don't have a choice we went to that hotel and aske for the room receptionist aske us to waite for a while and we did,few minutes later he told us They don't any room either.so we have to go back to the Silicrest again and told her what happened,
And she send me to the other hotel.which is like a apartment converted in to a hotel,very smelly and very not clean.WE DONT HAVE A CHOICE UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE TO STAY IN THAT HOTEL.SILICREST HOTEL SPOILED MY LAST STAY IN INDIA.

fuxking rude staff
Staff is very rude
Rudest staff really
Ive been to many hotels when i travel but staff is worse than 200rs hostel worker
Check out time is 12 but they called at 11 and asking when are we leaving
The room was small but was comfortable
But dont wanna ever wanna visit even if its free i wanted to slap the staff badly

complaints
we have reservation for above hotel-check in on 7/12/14 check out on 9/12/14. the silicrest hotel told us there is no booking they have received. I have shown the confirmation through Expedia but they did not honour. so we had to book another hotel as a emergency and at a higher cost.
we did stay one day on 11/12/14 at this hotel.
