PROs: location, friendly CON: service consistency
-Great location--slightly further out from the night market area but absolutely walkable.
-Staff is SUPER pleasant and friendly. But service/communication could definitely improves. Common bathroom amenities are not regularly refurnished during our 3-night stay which is strange for a hotel of this class. When we called the front desk to ask, the staff would be very attentive and seemingly understood our request but we ended up with a housekeeper knocking on our door and asking us to repeat the request (this happened every time we called down.) Similar situation at breakfast. We order 2 egg dishes (normal) with a specific notice that we are VERY tight on time. The staff seemingly understood to hurry our orders. Then only one egg order came and a different staff asked us to repeat the second order because the relayed instruction to the kitchen was not clear. All that with smiles!! So much for being in a hurry...
-Our overall stay was pleasant, though we did not spend too much time at the hotel. But certainly the service is not 5 or even 4 stars. Great smiles are not equal to good service.
