Would not stay again
Beautiful hotel. Not the room in pictures though. Bathroom outdated , no separate shower. Water came out of the top and bottom when running the shower. Slow drain. Door had several scuffs in side bathroom. The bed was extremely hard. No padding. Window shades 2 out of three were broken and could not be opened.

Not pleased
My experience was very frustrating. I was always needing something for the room because it didn’t have the proper necessities. There were no bath robes, no pants to fry food, I have to ask for forks and a corkscrew, and there were roaches in the restroom. I was not pleased with what I paid for. I really wanted to talk with management about this situation.

Staycation
Great stay and perfect location for the bmw dallas marathon near mile 12. We had to change rooms and luckily they were able to get us settled in another room just next door quickly.

Beautiful
Beautiful room within walking distance of the race I did downtown and many dinner options within walking distance. I could hear street noises pretty loudly but it didn’t bother me because I’m a sound sleeper.

I expected more from the Magnolia
There was no parking anywhere. Hotel charges fifty dollars per night in addition to your room rate for parking. Valet only. I arrived late at night, waited for 15 minutes for the valet. Drove around downtown while calling the hotel asking if valet was available. They asked me to pull back around. I did. Waited again, no one showed. I parked in a parking garage a little over a half mile away and walked. Homeless people littered the streets. Did not feel like a safe area for a woman traveling alone. Check in clerk was unfriendly and unprofessional. Room heat was set to 87 degrees when I arrived in the room. Took a very long time for it to get down to a comfortable temperature.
