Dingy and uncomfortable.
Room was outdated and just felt overall disgusting. Holes in the bathroom door, holes on the floor boards, bed was hard, av unit barely worked, and the room looked nothing like the pictures. Updated shower with an old tub that was poorly cleaned. We didn’t even use the shower. We stayed for one night and won’t stay again. It felt really uncomfortable at night with the homeless community right around the corner. Staff was nice at the front but in general not a nice stay.

No more Dixie Hollywood
No ac in room came in hot had to put air on, beds squeaky and springy not plushy or soothing. They confirmed multiple times I can split payment with card and cash arrive and now they only take cards they atm wouldn’t let me deposit cash. Finally they accepted my split payment but friend was unhappy with room conditions so we immediately checked out and they would only do refund on card instead of giving me my cash back

Underwhelming for sure. Low quality.
Overpriced for the quality for sure. There were 2 bees flying around the room when we entered. Bathroom door stuck and when we had to force it open the shower curtain rod, yes rod fell down and I had to re-install. Bed wes not comfortable for my partner or myself. Felt like a blow up matress and the ac did not work very well.

Our stay was only 1 night and we had no major complaints. The online check in was helpful. Maybe disclose your pool being closed due to construction, on your website or wherever you advertise. A coffee pot in the room would've been convenient as well.

Overall, the hotel is ok and not a bad option if you are just staying for one night and are on a budget. The rooms are outdated and a bit run down. Also, I'm pretty sure they waterdowned the mini shampoo bottles that they give you...Otherwise, everything else was fine.

The first picture on the properties profile on here is of the pool and you have to dig really deep in the description to see the pool was closed. We weren’t informed about the event happening the next day at check in and the man who checked us in was the least bit sympathetic to our disappointment about the lack of information.

This hotel is in a great location. Close to great dining options on Hillhurst Ave, Franklin Ave and N. Vermont Ave in the Los Feliz area. The rooms are a bit bedraggled but the beds were comfortable. My room had a small table but no chairs. The blinds were broken and the window AC unit was difficult to operate because most of the buttons were so small and rubbed out and so were nearly indecipherable. There were no screens in the windows so cracking the window for fresh air was not possible. It was stuffy and stale in the room. There was no lamp on the shelf between the 2 beds and the light switch for the very bright overhead recessed ceiling lights was at the front door. I chose this hotel because it has a pool. However, the pool was closed because it was getting a “facelift “. On a positive note, the Front Desk staff was Super nice. Also, it was quiet and there was a very kind overnight Security Guard who guarded the parking lot at the center of the property and all of the hotel rooms which all faced the parking lot. I really appreciated these positive aspects of my experience.

I was a little disappointed with the quality of the hotel, the room smelled moldy and the towels were damp. I think you get what you pay for. I suggest looking for a higher end place and spending accordingly.
