I regret not being able to provide a higher rating on service & staff due to one person at the front desk.
We arrived at the hotel at around 10:30 AM. The bell service guys were very helpful. They handled our luggage efficiently, tagged and stored them while we waited for our rooms to be ready.
When I approached the first available front desk staff to inquire if any rooms were be available before check-in time, the lady did not even let me speak and rudely indicated that I go to her next available colleague as she appeared to be busy taking doing other things. She did not have a sign indicating her unavailability. She appeared very annoyed that I even approached her. We were not expecting a room to be available in the morning before the formal check-in time.
Later in the afternoon, when we returned to complete our check-in, all other front desk positions were unavailable as they were taking care of other guests, but this lady appeared to be available. When I approached her, she once again rudely blew me off. I could not get her name because her hair was covering her name tag on her left shoulder.
The next available front desk staff was very kind. She was unaware of my past interaction with her colleague. She appeared to be a trainee staff, as this was indicated in her badge. She was very sweet and checked us in efficiently without problems.
Basic customer care is to always be kind to guests, as long as they are also respectful.
