We were assigned a room on the second floor, unfortunately there was no elevator access except to the first floor. We are a couple at 80 years, arrived a bit breathless at our room. Otherwise ok, bit beware of the second floor

Peace and good food
This hotel is unique. It's affiliated with a church on the premises and appears to be used for seminars, retreats, and the like, along with simple room rentals. The surrounding area is beautiful, including a small vineyard (the wine is available for sale). The restaurant serves wonderfully fresh food, so breakfast is excellent, as is the service. There's a true sense of tranquility to this facility.

Vi var meget begejstrede for stedet! Det ligger flot, vi blev taget rigtig godt imod og stedet har en god restaurant, hvor de gør meget ud af at servere lokale råvarer. Nærmest alt var fra lokale producenter! De serverer selvfølgelig også vin fra egne vinmarker. Morgenmaden var sublim. Der er rig mulighed for at gå en kortere eller længere tur i vinmarkerne, som ligger lige nedenfor hotellet. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage til Vogelsburg.
