I was here previously, decided to come for a 20 day stay to recharge.. They really let the place go downhill in every way.
I felt like I was doing a spotting job rather than having a vacation especially the first week.simple things like painting rusted things all over the island. Not clearing garbage that washes onto the beach, which I and other guests would put up high on the beach figuring they did a walk around daily. No, same garbage was not even noticed because the management doesn't care. I made my complaints and was told that some quality control expert was coming and they would have the island in shape by December. Lot of good that did me momentarily.it was things that were not even hard to do, simply there was no will. And it wasn't the staff, it's management..Actually had by chance the same room from years ago and saw the same issues not attended to.
The food was also low quality, I avoided breakfast, out of 19 nights, maybe 5 breakfasts. Any juices put out we're heavy sugar and they spared every expense. Not a banana in sight the last 10 days of my stay.. I offered to gladly do a walk with the general manager and show him how to fix the place up in a matter of days with staff on hand. Didn't care.. then there is the smoking. Staff quarters are close and obviously no one is told to go to a further section of the small island to smoke. When you're out taking the air on a walk it's not pleasant to suck in a huge amount of smoke. Much more. Bye Dfaru.
Disappointed
