Absolutely amazing beach and location! Stayed for 5 night in points villa #3, what a lovely accommodation! Resort property is charming and well maintained. We did not have any issues and concerns, even it was a bit a construction close to a restaurant and second bar was closed, that did not bother us it all. Great dining options, dinner is a like a cruise ship style with chef's specials and all dishes are well presented. All staff is extremely friendly. Special thanks to all service stuff for keeping our villa spotless, main Chef who was making sure we had a great lobster dinner (ordered separately) experience and guys from dive shop who provided a seamless boat tender transportation and snorkeling trips (I definitely recommend night snorkeling). I will absolutely recommend Octopus resort to my family and friends!

A picture perfect slice of heaven. Water was crystal clear and excellent snorkelling immediately in front of the resort. Bure was tidy and comfortable. No aircon which wasn’t an issue at the time that we stayed as the weather was lovely and not too hot. The staff were amazing, could not be more helpful and hospitable in every way. Kids club was small but my 8 yr old had the best time due to the wonderful staff. Food was good with a decent amount of variety. Would highly recommend and intend to be back again.

Great experience, lovely island. Staff very friendly, food is good. Snorkelling off the beach (can't swim at low tide) Keep in mind need to pay for boat ride to and from. Need to purchase the meal plan, not included in price. They don't accept Amex.

Beautiful location. We loved the beachside bar, villas overlooking the ocean, the incredibly comfortable outdoor sofas and all the activities. The trip to snorkel with Manta Rays was incredible, kayaking and the village visit were nice as well. The food was good, though service was often slow for lunches and dinners when it was a la carte (vs buffet).

Awesome Octopus
Was a great trip a way, would definitely recommend. The house reef was awesome for snorkelling, the diving was great, and a shark dive just around the corner. Our room was great, even though the evenings were a bit hard as there was no air con, we knew that, but didn’t realise how uncomfortable it was actually going to be. Food was yum, and plenty of activities for everyone. All in all, a great place!!!

Great location, but not clean and indifferent staff. Suggest finding another location in Yasawas. Sister resort- Paradise Cove (same owner), is wonderful.

2/10 Poor

Resort Services
Octopus Resorts given me a very disappointed & unhappy holiday. 1). I had been requested the resort to prepare a birthday cake prior arrival & the replied “yes, we can arrange”. After arrived the resort & the cake has also confirmed by resort employee. But on the dinner, we noted the birthday cake was sent to another table. When I ask to resort personnel, the answer is “the resort office did not inform them”. It is total not acceptable and seen the services between Black-haired Asian and Golden-hair Foreigner are different. 2). One of the rooms (Room#19), both main & toilet entry doors are not sufficiently high and caused few times to impact the door frames. Complained to resort and the replied is needs to pay extra to upgrade the room.

Best beach view bure
Stayed in a beach front bure and loved every minute of it. Great snorkelling right of the beach. You can feel the level of comfort according to the price you pay but it was really worth it.

Great location and good mix of people
The resort location is excellent, on a nice, sandy beach-although access to the open water is limited, with rocks reaching almost to the shore. The bures are spacious and very close to the beach, connected by a nice pathway flanked by manicured landscaping. I wasn’t too crazy about the open air bathroom and shower, fortunately there weren’t too many mosquitos waiting outside.... There are ample opportunities to relax on the lounge chairs on the beach, which is great as the pool tends to be overrun by noisy children most of the day. The resort offers daily activity options so you can’t get bored. The crowd there is a mix of families and young backpackers. Finally, the food is good for the price, and there is enough choice for all tastes. The breakfast buffet is great. Staff is very helpful and welcoming.

Nice resort
We enjoyed Octopus resort. The pool area is lovely and it has a great beach bar. Tom the bar man is very friendly. Food was good. Drinks and food are a little expensive compared to other resorts. We enjoyed the cinema night around the pool. Went snorkelling and saw lots of fish but wouldn’t say the reef is as vibrant as some of the others we have seen. Also unlike at other resorts we weren’t warned about the coral at low tide, even though we stuck to the edge of the reef the current is quite strong and pulled me in and I ended up scraping my leg on the coral. I’d recommend only snorkelling at high tide.
