This was our top stay inclusive of hotels in Tokyo, Lake Kawaguchiko, and Kyoto. So special to be beside the lake, have our own private onsen, and have dinner served right in our room. This hotel and experience was everything we imagined and hoped for.

We had the dinner and breakfast included. It was the best included meals we have had in Japan. The baths with the water fall was wonderful.

Amazing Stay, great food and service. Japan rooms were a great new experience. Cherry Blossom around the lake still on the 4th week of April, such a great stay!
Sebastian, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Very nice Japanese traditional style hotel. The location is great, close to the sight-seeing bus line and to the cable car lift. The bath is great, with good views on the 7th floor. it is a pity the room we had doesn't have a view though. The staff are nice, very polite. They also provide car service to and from the Fujikawaguchiko Station, which is nice!

Great place to stay in Kawaguchiko

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all helpful and kind. The food was delicious (be prepared for A LOT of food at breakfast and dinner) and we loved our in-room onsen . The hotel is showing its age with some visible wear and tear but it didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our stay. The location can’t be beat. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you to all of the staff.

Very nice Ryokan

Very nice ryokan. A little bit away from Kawaguchiko station but the hotel offers a fast shuttle service.
Dennis, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Stayed one night. The facilities are a bit old and outdated but I had a peaceful sleep and enjoyed the dinner and breakfast provided.
Yi Hsuan, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The staff spoke great English and were super friendly. We enjoyed both the public onsen options, both really different, clean, relaxing, had great bath prody, and were fun to experience. The traditional breakfast was the best we had. Only complaint might be that the mattresses were pretty thin, but we were only there one night, so it was fine. Overall amazing experience!
Amy, 1-night trip

Ryokan with Private onsen

This is the best hotel if you are interested in the Japanese Ryokan experience with a private onsen bath.
Jona, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

A absolutely beautiful ryokan room. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. The onsen over looking lake kawaguchi was just beautiful even if the weather was rainy! The onsen made it more spectacular. Good amenities and staff very helpful! I would have like to have breakfast on the room rather than in dining hall. As I don’t like the food traditional Japanese breakfast. A Lawson next door was handy.
