Cottage Rental Agency did a wonderful job. Our location for the condo was great but the furniture was very old and dated. It has enough positive so that we enjoyed our trip but all the furniture needs to be replaced.

I paid a little more to ensure that I would have a nicer cottage. My husband and I were put in a very very small efficiency that was the size of a large closet. It's called Sienna. Thought I was being charge 175 a night was charged almost 300 a night. I was told that since I booked on Hotels.com I was stuck with this room. Uncomfortable double bed above a store. Would never book with Hotels.com for Watercolors again. It is very apparent that they take advantage of Hotel.com customers. Water colors is a wonderful place but beware of booking through Hotels.com. I felt taken advantage of by the cottage rental agency. I was given the runaround no one would help or take responsibility for the booking. My room was advertised as a one bedroom it was an outdated effiviency closet. Did you have a cost with almost twice what was advertised in the room who has less than a fourth of what was advertised.

Great Seaside Experience
Sweet Magnolia II cottage was perfect! It was spotless, well maintained, comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed the bikes, the front swing, and the screened porch. It was a perfect get-a-way!

Nice location but rude staff ruined it for me
We arrived around 1:30 and asked if we could check-in early. I wouldn't mind if they said the room wouldn't be ready but they said they were cleaning it now and it would be ready shortly. Based on this we waited around instead of going to the beach. Two hours later they called and said the room was ready. It was hard to find because it is behind another house on the street. The house had a car parked in front of it's sign so we ended up driving around the block. The path to the house is dimly lit and partially blocked by bikes. They didn't tell us the room was upstairs so we tried the code they gave us and it worked on the downstairs door. This room did not have a refrigerator as shown on our reservation so I called the rental agency to ask about it. She said that since we booked through Expedia we would have to take it up with them. Apparently she told someone else this in her office who realized the mistake and a nice man showed up shortly thereafter to explain that we were supposed to be in the top room. We repacked and moved. The new room did have what we expected. The bed was nice. The shower is tiny but had good water pressure. The room came with access to a private beach which was a short walk. The weather was perfect and the water was calm and seaweed free which was nice.

Beach Bungalow Great Weekend Getaway!
My husband and I were traveling for a wedding at Santa Rosa Beach. The Beach Bungalow was the perfect place for us to stay! It was so refreshing not to be at a typical hotel. The gentleman at check in was so kind! He knew we had traveled all day and gave us some great restaurant ideas of places we could go without getting back into the car! Also 2 complimentary bottles of wine and beach bag filled with goodies! We loved being across the street from the most beautiful beach (bring your own beach chairs for short visits, not worth the rental) and the adult pool was fantastic. It was a short visit but worth the extra you pay in the taxes and fees. The area has great restaurants and cute shops and you can walk to everything!

Long weekend in February a perfect birthday gift
To celebrate turning 60, my husband and I rented a small guest cottage for 2 at Seaside, the home of years of vacations with our three sons and now their wives. We have stayed in numerous properties in Seaside, but having our own little 2-story, 2 room cottage was a rare treat. We almost never bike in the summer because it is too hot, so February was perfect for long bike rides, tennis and brisk walks on the beach. I had never rented with hotels.com, but was pleasantly surprised at their Price Match and welcome package upon our arrival.

Just Okay
Highly disappointed in this cottage rental. 5 day stay cost 2200.00 for the "La Petite Mason 2". Pics on youtube video and website are very outdated and deceiving. You have to walk through a very overgrown path to reach this cottage. No view of anything from balconies because the landscape and trees are mature and overgrown. First day no maid service so I called front desk to find out about housekeeping. Was informed at my level it wasn't included and I would have to pay extra....WHAT? Extra? So what's included for 2200.00 per week? One set of bedsheets, and a few towels. Refrigerator didn't cool properly either so food didn't keep for more than a couple of days at a time, and drinks didn't cool. The room pics were shot from a panoramic point of view so they aren't nearly as spacious as they look. Did I mention there is no washer/dryer in this cottage either, so I had to hand wash our clothing in the sink and hang them to dry. Overall a very disappointing stay. For 2200.00 I could have stayed in a hotel that was full service with housekeeping and full service amenities. Even the pool and fitness center utilization would have been an extra fee. I love this cottage rental community and it's a really cool place, but I would NEVER stay in this particular cottage, the "La Petite Maison II" for more than one night, and that would be only if there were no other cottages available. Lesson learned.
