this hostel is a long way from the train station when walking there. Google maps says one street that it is in, Moon Hostel says another. Luckily we saw the sign while walking past the wrong street, to know to go down a side street to the back, or essentially front of this very old, dated hostel, in a neighbourhood that is quite decrepit also.
The reception girl was pleasant, spoke good English, and was very helpful. No faults there. There is a food shop on the corner to buy food for the communal kitchen, but unfortunately there is not a lot in there, so if arriving late like we did, you are limited. Buy food before you come to this out of the way hostel. There is a tram stop very close by, which is a bonus.
The bed was hard, the bathroom was surprisingly good size and the shower good. The fridge is also a bonus. Wouldn't come again, but okay for those wanting a cheap place if all else is booked out. The photos on the site are not realistic at all.
