Right at the park entrance
Nice little cabin with plenty of room. This property is right outside the gate at Rainier National Park. Easy check in and friendly staff. If I had to recommend one thing, it would be new pillows. Pillow wear flat and worn out. Great property and location.

2 comfortable days in Ranier
This was a surprisingly cosy and comfy cabin. After reading some reviews, I was a bit leary, but we had great sleeps, a clean environment, and plenty of space. The location is perfect, literally within steps of the entrance to Rainier National park. We appreciated the free wood and it was easy to start a fire in the wood burning fireplace. My one recommendation to the management is to improve the lighting in the cabins. There is not a lot of natural light, and the lamps provided are fairly dim.

2/10 Poor

Just dealing in facts here: The queen-sized, memory foam bed takes up 1/3 of the floor space. It has to be moved one way to open the door and then the other way for a person getting into the left side of the bed. There is one broken living-room chair and no table to eat on. The place features modern, high-end Euro appliances and solid kitchen surfaces, but there are no dishes silverware, glasses, cups, plates, and one six-inch frying pan with an ill-fitting lid. We needed to shove a bath towel in the bottom of the window space because the window blind didn’t go all the way down. The cabin is 50-feet from the main west-end road into Mt. Rainer National Park and the trucks hauling food and beverage in and the garbage trucks hauling stuff out start rumbling by at 4:30 a.m. Wi-fi is very spotty and I realize that mostly the fault of the provider, but all the TV is streaming, which means it is shared by multiple people. Lighting is two lamps on one end and one light from the ceiling in the middle, but it was poor enough that kitchen counters were dirty because no one can see anything.

Arrived after check in time. Easy, they connected with us early in day to make a plan. Room exceeded expectations. "Premium" cabin makes the difference. Found no tv remote or toilet paper. Called and left message, had both delivered within an hour. Cannot beat location unless in the park. Comfy bed, nice heat, fridge and microwave. Wifi worked for us.

Cute, but with issues
We were amazed at how cute the room was when we walked in. Then sat on the bed to find that one side was broken. Wifi did not work at all. One way to disconnect from the world! One channel on TV. We go to bed and my husband was awakened by mice chewing into our food packages and fruit. When we alerted the front desk at checkout, he was not surprised and said he did not know they were in that cabin number. Oh well. If we had been forewarned we could have put our food in a safer place.

4/10 Fair

Okay so the person at the front desk was lovely. So sweet and kind and lovely to chat with. The room was so weird. It's really dark. Strangely furnished. No electrical plug in in the bathroom?? It was pretty dirty. Smelled like stale smoke/vape. The window beside the bed faces the road and the blind was broken and didn't even close properly. People can see directly into the room and you sleeping. So weird. I mean- after camping in the rain i was glad for a room. But you really pay for the location.

Cabin in the woods
Overpriced and rundown. Run! Please let this be your warning. There are much better other options in town. The cabin was musty and smelled strongly like mold. The tv and wifi are amenities that are just for show because they don’t work either. The lighting in there is horrible and we had to use our cell phone flashlights to navigate around. There were stains on the comforter and the whole cabin is extremely outdated and dirty- I think this place is only still in existence because of it’s location. It was so bad we had to leave a day early and find other accommodations. When we presented these issues - the staff was rude and did not care. They did not seem phased by any of our complaints (probably hear it all the time) nor apologize at any point for the inconvenience. They literally do not care. If you have respiratory issues or asthma this can be a serious health issue which is why we are contacting the BBB.

Beds were clean and very comfortable. Room was clean. Coffee maker wasn’t working in our room but we didn’t mind to be honest, so we just left it unplugged. Main concern may be that there’s no connection/service since it’s so close to Mt Rainier and the Wifi is super spotty. I didn’t mind, but definitely something to keep in mind while booking.
