Almost everything that we expect from a St. Regis property with the two following exceptions. We left our room every day between 630 and 8:30 AM, returning on one of the days at 4 PM only to find housekeeping first making up the room. I’m certain because he was rushing we were left without towels, bathmats, toiletries, complementary water and floor tiles exposing the shower drain. When we called the Butler service to request those items we were first told that it would take some time to receive them. All we wanted to do was come back from a long day of touring to shower, change and go out for dinner. This created a bit of an inconvenience. One should be concerned when you send something out for dry cleaning as their chemicals on much harsher than those in the US, ruining a brand new expensive pant and top, which came back all pilled. (Laundry service is amazing)
The concierge is very helpful in obtaining train tickets and car reservations. However, upon our departure, he was a bit rude.
Service during breakfast is attentive, and food selection is delicious. We would absolutely stay again, but wanted to mention a few things to help others.
