Best hotel in Prague
When our taxi driver dropped us off he said “This is the best hotel in town.” While we haven’t stayed elsewhere in Prague, we think he’s probably right. Fabulous views, great area away from the madness (but near the Castle) and right next to the monastery and all it has to offer. Our room was a standard one, but very well appointed. The breakfast was lovely. A great value and unique property.

A gem of hotels in Prague
If you want a quiet and comfortable sleep, this hotel is your place. Next to the monastery and a park with a cafe that has a grand view of the city. Fresh air. Walk downhill to the bridge. #22 tram back if walking up undesired. Very helpful and professional staffs. Highly recommended.

The entrance to the hotel left us a bit nervous about our booking choice, but once we were inside we were warmly welcomed by Peter who offered us Prosecco while he walked us through check in and gave us helpful information about the property. Thank you Peter! The property is beautiful, and part of a monastery complex with extensive grounds which include vineyards, restaurants and beer gardens. You have the best view over the city and the river! There are bakeries and coffee shops right next door and the neighborhood has a lovely feel. The monastery complex is very historic and you can pay a small entrance fee to visit the world famous Strahov library and the beautiful Abbey. We walked from there all over town including to Wenceslas Square and the castle. We had an exceptionally delicious breakfast. The staff were all efficient, helpful and friendly. We loved our stay and would highly recommmend staying at this lovely gem of a property.

In the heart of the historic Prague castle complex. Only 5 minute walk to Charles bridge and 1 minute to the historic tram 42 route. Lovely place with modern equipment and room set up while you are actually staying in a former monastery.

We fou d out that tge hotel was part of a monastry so on the last day we visitrd the monastry compound. The walk from the compound down to the streets has one of the best views of the city. The monastry library is great! There are books of 1200 years old, and I learned that scholars were experimenting electrical effects way before Edison and Tesla. Plenty of unplanned incidental findings since staying at the Questernberg. Final point, there slippers are made of valvet kind of material in roral purple, and come in various sizes. I couldn't resist so I took 2 pairs home as sovenirs.
