This hotel is a hidden gem by the beach. The staff is always attentive to your needs and deserve our praises. The food and drink options were always top quality. Rooms and cabins are clean and well equipped. Cabins are a bit more rustic, but each is independent and provide a sense of being alone in paradise. I would highly recommend this hotel for stays in Playa del Carmen and will return in the future.

Our family is obsessed with this place. Three times in a raw we are coming back - the best option for the vacation with little kids, great food, f&b team is just the best. What I would like to improve that reception would be more friendly to the returning customers - we were never treated like we are returning guests - maybe plate with fruits or some nice letter that the hotel is glad we are back. Its been worthy experience with Mexico and the hotel. Thank you for having us!

Nice quiet hotel good for family and small children. Good and safe place to stay. Excessive tipping culture after every meal and service which can account for a hefty sum. Rigged monopoly overpriced taxi system associated with the hotel. Outdated meals and not the best drinks I’ve had in Mexico.

Petit Lafitte was exactly what we were looking for - a peaceful getaway in a place that wasn’t too loud or big and had amazing views and a unique bungalow experience. The food and drinks were also great and we enjoyed the live music as well. Our favorite part was the amazing staff! A beautiful property on the beach. If you want to relax and enjoy the sun, this is the place for you. It's quiet and serene. I loved that they turned off the music on the beach at request so that we can enjoy the quiet. I love their gorgeous yoga studio and daily classes. Massage on the beach was amazing. Family trip and a friends bday. Front desk staff all very friendly and accommodating. Service for breakfast & dinner fantastic, flexible to meet your dietary requirements. Food was very good. Martin is an exceptional server! They even surprised my friend for her bday with a cake and came to sing. Love the rustic and zen vibes- like tulum. Only improvement, rooms could use some upgrading. Will definitely recommend to friends/family.
