Overall great. Staff were awesome...front desk staff Brian and Terone were very helpful. Dining and Bar staff great as well. My girl Z (forgot the spelling of her name, but it starts with Z) so helpful and friendly. Housekeeping could have been better. But overall the stay was great.

LaVue with a view
An absolutely stunning hotel perched on a hill overlooking the ocean and out to Bequia. The staff were amazing, very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay magical. Food was fantastic. Very relaxed although quite chic in style.

The rooms are excellent and well designed for a chique stay and the turn down service matched. However, the restaurants on site (excluding the italian as I dared not try it to be disappointed for a higher price) failed to deliver quality food for the price point of the hotel. Any chef who can mess up creamed potatoes to the point it could not be lifted from the plate with a fork should not be a chef and thats just one example I am willing to give. An attempt to take a dip in the pool one evening revealed a very dirty pool with dirt at the bottom and debris. Further, it appears the hotel does not have a generator and we were left hot and uncomfortable in the room for 2 hours during bad weather. The rooms and general apperance of the facilities match the pictures in the brochures.

Midern hotel poorly managed with safety issues
The Good- - warm, friendly staff doing their best - modern and clean building - perfect location on a bluff - plenty of parking - cute beach bar - beautiful lobby and pool areas The Bad - - breakfast not included and $$$$ - no almond/soy milk options - no non-pork meats at breakfast - no decaf coffee - no local local juices or food - Glass and porcelain plates at pool areas - Housekeeping cleans rooms late - No water stocked in room The Ugly - - No chairs/seating in the room… - Pool area dangerous, especially for children. No barrier by pool that abuts a hill. - For 3 of the 8 days we were there, there was no bartender or pool attendant at the pool all day - Post rain bugs. There were a few infestations of flying bugs after rains that had to cleaned up in our room. There were no mesh screens in the patio doors which created the situation. On the last night, my husband and I were stepping on the bugs to kill them, called the front desk to have them send someone to sweep up to sweep the dead bugs and no one came. - Electricity blackout for several hours on one of the days - We were in the pool on the last day for a couple of hours before we were told that the pool was unsafe and that they were closing it! We couldn’t believe that they waited 2 hours before telling us that we were in danger because of electrical issue from the blackout the previous day. All in all, hotel looks amazing, but looks in this case are deceiving.
