Comfortable stay for xc skiing
It was a cross country skiing day for me with comfortable accommodations

A new favorite!
So many activities to choose from! We came to ski, but ended up staying on the resort property to do all the fun things offered there instead since the weather was rough! 😅 all the people who were working were very friendly, and did a great job!

Nice and Close to XC Skiing
I liked the hotel, because it was very quiet, clean, and close to cross country skiing. The staff were super nice too. It would have been nice if the hot water had been hotter. Showers were a little cold

Nice room, no TV
The room was comfortable and sleeps up to 6. No TV. No climate control, felt a bit chilly. Shower was fine.

Ok for a night stay
Less of a hotel and more of YMCA camping place with activities for kids. Corridors are smelling and carpet in rooms is old and smells bad. Mattresses are old.

The property has outstanding staff and customers service, but it needs to have a better house keeping team. The food is delicious and the activities included are awesome

We're Y members and will keep coming back
We've been staying here for years. We used to stay at Silver Sage but the rooms were dark and very noisy when there are a lot of kids. The 10pm quiet hours are ignored by a lot of parents. We like Indian Peaks much better, although if you go during a school holiday, you may be met with the same noise. The walls are pretty thin. The animal heads on the walls are old-school and it would be nice to not have to look at them. Time for a update. Otherwise, the place is very quiet, the views are awesome, you can ski practically out the front door. Snow Mountain has one of the best Nordic Centers in CO with miles of groomed skate and classic tracks. There are separate snowshoe trails that are beautiful, too. Staff is always helpful and cheerful. Note, there are no TVs in the rooms, but pets are allowed in some rooms, which we love. Not a lot of options nearby for food.

Not the cleanest hotel
Room wasn’t very clean. Beds and blankets smelled like urine. One bed was fine but other was very uncomfortable. No ice bucket even though we asked for one st front desk. Ice machine didn’t work. Very loud - we heard loud thumping late into the night from the common area and the room next door. No elevators. No TV. Did have lots of camp like activities and nice cookies and coffee in the lobby

comfortable bed, beautiful setting. Noise level good 10pm-7am and varies by presence/absence of school groups

Beautiful and Resonable place with awesome staff
Location was beautiful clean and reasonable. Will visit again with family. People were super nice, friendly and helpful. Gave some good tips about surrounding sites to visit. 5 stars to the staff

We loved our stay here. It could be termed as basic but it was clean and all the communal areas were welcoming and comfortable. Everything was walkable and there were plenty of activities. Food offerings were good, hot and plentiful and we ate on site. The restaurant was on quite a slope so push/wheel chair users may have a problem
Gail, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

I liked the price of the YMCA in relation to area hotels. I did not like no elevator for a 3rd floor room, no TV, no A/C and poor bed.

It is an old facility. It was clean. Everything worked. People were nice. I'd stay there again.
