Definitely coming back!
This might be one of my best stays yet. The location was stunning, the decor was gorgeous, the staff were friendly and attentive, and there was so much to do. The staff even brought a surprise birthday treat to our room. Our stay really felt like luxury. We can't wait to come back.

Attentive, luxurious and relaxing.
We booked a one night stay for my wife's 40th Birthday. We were extremely impressed with the friendliness of the staff, attention to detail with decor and the sheer level of luxury. Homewood has to be by far the best romantic get away we have experienced. Mixing the eloquence of a manor house with the relaxing indulgence of a spa.

Really enjoyed our stay here after Glastonbury! Staff were wonderful and were able to accommodate our late check-in, had a lovely breakfast the next morning and spent the day in the spa. It was the first day the new spa pool was open and we got to enjoy it briefly before it was closed - highly recommend the massages. Would love to come back and spend more time here next time!

Great stay in the country.
Great overnight stay in a hot tub room for my wife’s birthday. Room was splendid, spent hours in the hot tub, service was attentive and had a great meal in the evening. Wife enjoyed the spa and massage the following day.

Haven close to the beautiful city of Bath
A beautiful property in gorgeous well kept gardens. We didn’t use many facilities as we were attending a nearby wedding. The breakfast was excellent.

A magical experience
Amazing hotel and experience from the moment you arrive to the second you leave. The whole hotel is beautiful with a wonderful artistic theme and the level of service is exemplary. My favourite hotel in the UK (including 5* London) and will be returning again soon

10/10 Exceptional

Excellent hotel, the service in all the areas of the hotel was great from the dining room staff to the bar and therapists in the spa and on reception. The hotel it’s self was lovely, the guest experience was really thought through at every stage, as there were so many little touches throughout that really made your stay more comfortable and special. The hotel and grounds were maintained to a really high standard. Overall an excellent hotel and we look forward to returning!
Liane, 5-night trip

8/10 Very good

Everything was great but there is one thing I have to criticize, the cleanliness of the room. It could definitely be much better and more hygienic, it created a situation for us that definitely did not give value for money.
Ahmet, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Really beautiful grounds surrounding the hotel, with lots of quirky features. It’s really convenient to get to from Bath city centre and a stunning escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Some of the room facilities do need updating though, basic things like the wardrobes have so many layers of paint on them that they do not close, one window wouldn’t open, the controls for the shower have been installed incorrectly (the hot/cold knob was actually the on/off switch and vice versa) and there were lots of marks and dings on the walls- the back of the bedroom door had a hole in that needed to be filled/painted for example. The sofa in the room also desperately needs a clean. The food at the hotel was excellent and the staff are lovely but it lacks finesse to make it a true 4 star hotel at the moment.

10/10 Exceptional

Beautiful hotel with some lovely decor. Staff very helpful and attentive nothing was too much trouble. Quality of breakfast was excellent lots to choose from and a lovely setting. We had dinner the first night. Everything was freshly cooked and the service was excellent. We enjoyed using the facilities and these were well maintained and clean. We had come away for a relaxing break and we certainly got that. I would recommend the Homewood to all my friends and hope to go back one day. 5 star!

Excellent from start to finish
This hotel is lovely. The whole experience was high class the from start to finish. Staff were clearly drilled to be friendly and polite and looked like they wanted to be there. Little touches go a long way to improving a stay and this hotel has loads of them. From quirky decor to free pick and mix, they really have thought the experience through. The food was also superb, with well thought through menus and nice touches like taking your order in the bar to be served when you take your table. We would not hesitate to come back. Well done Homewood
Kathryn, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Lovely place and people, but service quality poor
The Homewood itself is lovely, the spa and restaurant is great. The let down was the service - everyone is very polite and courteous but for the price of the rooms we'd expect faultless service. Too often in the restaurant we were left underwhelmed or the room cleaning was substandard. In lower priced hotels it wouldn't matter bit at the prices we paid it wasn't good enough.
James, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

This hotel unfortunately did not live up to it's expectations in a number of ways, however the most disappointing aspect was being served gluten after making staff aware that I am coeliac - I had suspicions that the meal served was unsuitable but had to confirm twice before they checked and notified me that it did in fact contain gluten. Thankfully I did not eat the food served. I would advise anyone suffering from an allergy to be incredibly cautious of eating here.

Return to paradise
Having stayed here back in 2020 and being blown away by this little gem, it was time to go back. We previously stayed in the Lux Hot-tub suite which overlooked the pool, which at night makes the most romantic setting for a proposal. A few things have changed at Homewood since then and all positive, they acquired the neighbouring house and added it to their boutique hotel - Mallingford Mews and this is where we stayed. Having been redecorated to the same very high standards as the hotel as soon as you walk in the door you feel the luxury and spot all the quirky little extras, the complimentary sweet area jars of sweets and hampers filled with crisps and muffins this is clearly very popular. We have 2 evening meals and as always the food was outstanding, the surroundings just get prettier and we can’t think of a more idyllic spot than the patio to sip cocktails and watch the world go by. Looking forward to our return trip!

Lovely hotel
Friendly staff and very well situated hotel. We were able to do a lot of sightseeing in the area.Close to Bath for shopping and seeing the roman baths, royal crescent etc. Also close to wells cathedral and longleat safari park and stateky home. The hotel is very comfortable with luxurious but cosy rooms. The decor in the room is quirky and so pretty. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the amenities you would expect. There is an outside and inside pool with hot .Also the sauna is available to book. The hotel grounds are very well cared for and look beautiful. The garden area is pretty with lots of comfortable tables and chairs if you want to eat or drink outside. All the staff are so helpful ,friendly and pleasant and nothing is too much trouble to help you enjoy your stay. The food - the hotel offers an excellent choice of menus.Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice and keeps you full for most of the day.Ther
